We caught up with Amber to go over her top street style tips, must-have sneakers, and the trends that she can’t get enough of this year. Aşağıdaki röportajı kontrol edin.

How does your job influence your personal style?

Being a personal buyer and stylist, it’s my job to look after other people’s wardrobes. I deal with so lots of different people, all with different styles. I could be dressing a CEO’s partner for a glamorous black tie event one day, the next I’ll be setting up a pre-order for the hottest new sneaker launch for a collector overseas.

I think this rubs off on me a bit because I really appreciate all types of fashion, it’s so tough to nail down my own style. one day I want to be incredibly polished in a little dress and heels, the next I’ll be in partner jeans and trainers.

Do you like wearing sneakers or heels?

Since I started my business, I’ve really stopped getting so lots of pairs of heels and would rather invest in trainers to be honest. As much as I love stunning shoes, I’m typically carrying tons of shopping bags and running between client appointments, so it’s impossible to wear them.

How would you describe your outlook on the luxury streetwear industry?

I love the way that luxury brands have embraced streetwear becoming a lot more mainstream. It’s crazy to think that years ago when I started out as a fashion intern, luxury sneakers just weren’t really a thing.

How do you dress up your much-loved sneakers?

Even when I’m in sneakers I still like to keep it a bit feminine, one of my much-loved pairs I have are Valentino, and they’re pink lace. other pairs I’ll wear with say a fur coat, or in the summer with a cute dress, so I still feel a bit girly!

Which fashion trend are you absolutely dedicated to this season?

Right now I’m loving how obsessed fashion seems to be with the ’90s. When I’m out and about, I see so lots of people looking like they’re an extra from one of the TV shows I grew up watching, or wearing brands that I knew as a teenager. As a ’90s baby, it feels so nostalgic.

What’s your opinion on the daddy shoe trend?

I’ve tried to fight it so bad, but I’m really loving all the chunky daddy trainers that brands are releasing. When Balenciaga’s Triple S first launched I thought they were AWFUL, but I think I need to have sourced so lots of pairs that they’ve slowly grown on me.

If you had to pick a must-have accessory for 2018, what would you go for?

I tend to like trends that are hopelessly impractical or unwearable – I love tiny bags to death ideal now. Some are so small its like playing Tetris trying to fit the essentials in but I still keep getting them!

Can you share your primary styling policy to live by?

Huge logos still don’t seem to be going anywhere, when I was younger you couldn’t have paid me to wear something so heavily branded, but now I’m like, oooh it says Gucci really large, I want it! I think the policy must be one logo mad item per outfit though. If you’re wearing a logo sweater, your trainers need to be really minimal and understated.
